New scenic coach tours of New Zealand

Innovative Travel is featuring a new series of New Zealand Coach tours, targeted at the 45 + age group, in collaboration with inbound specialists Terra Nova, launching under the Inspired NZ label. Innovative Travel MD, Robyn Galloway, says these exciting new tours have literally come about by neighborly collaboration and is a positive example of how companies can come together to face the new challenges for our industry. Each tour is guaranteed to depart with a minimum of 6 clients.  

Through the CV19 crises, some travellers are feeling fearful and some have lost their confidence to travel. This is a great way to get clients on the road again.   We expect demand from couples, friends and solo travellers. A share twin option is being offered on request.

Galloway says she expects the Winterless North, departing ex Auckland on 16 August, will have great appeal to the domestic market, and for those seeking slightly warmer weather.

Starting in Auckland, highlights include Paihia and Cape Reinga, Puketi Kauri Forest, a cruise to the Brett Peninsula and the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Priced from just $1,580 ex Auckland, share twin.

The 6 day, West Coast Wonder departing on 01 November, ex Christchurch has more of a scenic focus, with visits to Hanmer Springs, Greymouth and Fox Glacier before returning to Christchurch. A key highlight is a helicopter flight over Fox Glacier included in the tour price which is just $1,720 pp ex Christchurch.

Christchurch, Queenstown and the Lupins, 7 day tour ex Christchurch departs on 21 November. Visits to the Waipara Vineyard region, and Lake Tekapo are included, with 4 nights in Queenstown at the Rees Hotel. The iconic day trip to Milford Sound is included, then some time at leisure, as local travellers may have visited Queenstown previously, it is important to provide the option of free time to further explore on their own, or take optional tours.
