The stunning Philippines Archipelago is a myriad of over 7500 islands many of which are the unspoilt ideal of an island paradise. This 14 day itinerary featuring daily breakfasts and all transfers (including airport meet and assistance transfers) allows you to experience some of these idyllic locations that are still relatively unknown to the majority of tourists. From the shopping and entertainment of Manila this itinerary takes you off the beaten track to secluded islands and natural wonders.

Day 1: Manila

Welcome to The Philippines. Meet assist and transfer to your hotel located in the commercial district of Makati.

Day 2: Manila (B L)

After breakfast at your hotel you will begin your Philippines experience with a tour of Manila. Highlights include the Mall of Asia which is said to be the biggest shopping and entertainment mall in Asia. You will also visit Rizal Park, Manila's premier garden and promenade, before visiting The Walled City of Intramuros. Established by the Spanish government in 1571 as the medieval City of Manila, this was the colony's capital and seat of power. Next on the tour is San Agustin Church – the oldest existing Catholic church in the country with its well-preserved original icons paintings and religious paraphernalia. Finally you will visit Fort Santiago. Constructed by the Spaniards as the city's main fortification against attacks from the sea in the 16th to the 19th century, this fort was later converted into a prison for enemies of the state.

Day 3: Manila – Legazpi (B)

Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Legazpi famous for the majestic Mayon Volcano and spicy food. Once transferred to your hotel the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4: Legazpi (B L)

Breakfast at your hotel prior to being picked up for your Legazpi tour and Bikolinarya experience. Take a glimpse of the province of Albay, home to the majestic Mayon Volcano. Visit the site of the buried town of Cagsawa and see the only surviving structure – the belfry of the Cagsawa Church - now known as the Cagsawa Ruins. Go on a quick visit to Our Lady of the Gate Parish, one of the prominent churches in the Philippines, and be amazed at the details of its rich baroque architecture. Proceed to a rolling tour of the Headless Monument (built in tribute to the unsung heroes of the World War II), Bicol Heroes Trylon (in memory of the Americans and Legazpuenos famous battle), Albay Capitol and Legazpi City Hall Penaranda Park & Liberty Bell, Kampo ng Bayan Heritage Park, and Legazpi Boardwalk. Later move on to a Pili Nut Store - a fruit home-grown in the Bicol region. After the tour learn how to cook local dishes like Bicol Express and Laing in a traditional way through Bikolinarya Cooking Experience.

Day 5: Legazpi – Cebu (B)

Following breakfast at your hotel you will be picked up and transferred to Legazpi airport for your flight to Cebu. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel then you have the rest of the day at leisure to soak up Cebu’s atmosphere and beautiful beaches.

Day 6: Cebu (B L)

The early morning start to today is well rewarded with an unforgettable whale shark experience. See these majestic fish in their own environment, either from in the water or on the deck of your boat. After a side trip to Tumalog falls you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 7: Cebu (B L)

Following breakfast at your hotel you will be picked up and taken to Cebu Port where you will board a ferry bound for Tagbilaran. Upon arrival you will be taken for a tour of the Bohol countryside. This beautiful landscape features many attractions including the Tarsier Conservation Center where you will see the world’s smallest (and possibly cutest) primate. You will also experience the historically significant Blood Compact Site, the impressive man-made mahogany forest, and the Chocolate hills.

Upon completion of the tour you will be taken back to your hotel in Cebu via ferry from Tagbilaran.

Day 8: Cebu - Puerto Princesa (B L)

After breakfast at your hotel you will be transferred to Cebu airport for your flight to Puerto Princesa where you will be met upon arrival and transferred to your accommodation for the night. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 9: Puerto Princesa (B L)

After breakfast at your hotel you will be picked up for an unforgettable underground river tour. Nicknamed the last frontier of the Philippines Palawan is full of natural wonders including the incomparable 8.2 km long underground river, which is one of the New Wonders of the World. Following the 1 hour cruise through the subterranean river you will stop for a picnic lunch at Sabong Beach. Following the scenic transfer back to the hotel the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 10: Puerto Princesa – El Nido (B)

Today you will travel overland from Puerto Princesa to El Nido passing the Karst Mountains, beautiful bays, and pristine forests. Upon arrival in El Nido you will check in to your hotel and have the remainder of the day at leisure to explore or unwind from the road trip.

Day 11: El Nido (B)

A day of sightseeing, snorkelling, and sunbathing awaits after breakfast. Following your transfer to the activity centre motorboats are ready to take you to Small Lagoon, Big Lagoon, Shimizu Island, Secret Lagoon, and Seven Commando Beach. After a day of experiencing the beauty of these secluded locations you will be returned to the wharf and your hotel.

Day 12: El Nido (B)

Experience El Nido in whichever manner you want today with a free day scheduled. Snorkelling, canoe hiring, and dolphin watching are just a few of the options in this beautiful and unspoilt location.

Day 13: El Nido – Manila (B)

After breakfast you will be transferred to El Nido airport for your flight to Manila. Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel before having the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 14: Manila (B)

Departure transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
