Day 1: Lisbon

At the end of the day, check in to a 4-star hotel in Lisbon. After dinner, the evening is free to do as you please.

Day 2: Lisbon

This morning, set out for a guided tour of Lisbon. Discover the Belém Cultural Center and its famous Belém tower, an architectural jewel and a symbol of the Age of Discovery. You will also visit the Jeronimos Monastery, a masterpiece of Manueline architecture. In the afternoon, take a panoramic tour of Lisbon, also known as "the City of the Light”. Perched on a hill, you'll see the Sao Jorge castle towering over the pastel-colored houses of the Alfama district, the maze of picturesque alleyways leading down to the Tagus River. Afterwards, return to your hotel. The evening is free to do as you please.

Day 3: Lisbon - Coimbra - Porto

Departure by coach to Coimbra, a romantic source of inspiration to many a poet. This afternoon, discover this charming city that cascades down the hillside to the Rio Mondego. After your tour, you'll hit the road again towards Porto, boarding the ship at 5:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabin, you will be introduced to the \crew at a welcome cocktail. In the evening, join an excursion by coach for both packages: Tour of Porto by night.

Day 4: Porto - Regua

This morning will be spent cruising. Join us on an excursion proposed for both packages: Guided tour of Lamego. Enjoy an evening of dancing.

Day 5: Regua - Porto Antigo

Take part in the excursion proposed for both packages: The Douro Museum and a tasting of olive oil and wine in a quinta.
Spend the afternoon cruising and enjoy an evening of onboard entertainment.

Day 6: Porto Antigo - Porto

You will spend the morning cruising. This afternoon, join us on the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Porto, one of the oldest cities in Europe, whose historic center was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
DISCOVERY: Touring Porto via tram and visiting the tram museum. Board one of the city's trams and partake in this urban-tourism experience all the way to the mouth of the Douro. Finish up your excursion with a tasting of some of the local specialties.
The evening is free to do as you please.

Day 7: Porto - Guimaraes - Porto

Enjoy time at leisure this morning to discover Porto at your own pace. This afternoon, join the excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Tour of Guimarães. Begin the tour of this university town on foot to discover its historical treasures. You will get the chance to discover the Nossa Senhora de Oliveira Church (outdoors), the most important religious building in the city. The medieval heart of Guimarães is a labyrinth of lanes and picturesque plazas framed by 14th-century buildings. Continue on to the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza, a medieval estate and former residence of the first Dukes of Braganza with striking architecture. The palace is closed on May 1 and Easter Day.
DISCOVERY: Quaint Afurada. Leave by coach for the mouth of the Douro River to set off on an atypical stroll to Afurada, located on the southern bank. Visit the Afurada Heritage Interpretive Center. Spend some time on your own in this charming village. Lose yourself in the backstreets lined with colorful homes. Don't forget to sample delicious seafood dishes at a local tavern!
Return to the ship for tonight's our gala evening and dinner followed by traditional folk entertainment.

Day 8: Porto

One last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9.00 a.m. End of our services.
