Settle into your accommodation in beautiful Cagliari, where the magic of Sardinia awaits.

Day 2: Cagliari (B)

After breakfast, meet your professional local guide in the hotel lobby and embark on a captivating three-hour walking tour through the heart of Cagliari, Sardinia’s capital. The historic center is divided into three charming neighbourhoods: Castello, Stampace, and Marina. During the tour, explore must-visit landmarks including the Bastion of Saint-Remy, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the Elephant Tower, and Via Roma. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to relax or take a scenic stroll along the Cagliari coastline leading to the renowned Poetto Beach, one of Europe’s finest urban beaches. Alternatively, visit the Roman Amphitheatre or the National Archaeological Museum (optional) to delve into the rich historical and cultural heritage from Punic times onwards. Return to your accommodation in Cagliari for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Cagliari – Nuoro – Orgosolo - Alghero (B, Gastronomic Experience with shepherds)

We start the day with a traditional breakfast in Cagliari before heading towards Barbagia, one of the most traditional and authentic regions of Sardinia. Our first stop will be Nuoro, the cultural capital of Barbagia, famous for its museums and craft traditions. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the city and immerse yourself in its rich cultural heritage. Next, we will head towards the mountains, in the heart of the purest Sardinia. Here, you will experience something unique by participating in a traditional lunch with shepherds, surrounded by the unspoiled nature of Barbagia. You will taste typical Sardinian dishes and breathe in the unique atmosphere of this wild and fascinating region. After lunch, we will move on to Orgosolo, a picturesque village known for its vibrant murals that tell the island’s history and for its strong pastoral traditions. After the visit, we will head towards Alghero.

Day 4: Alghero – Palmavera – Capo Caccia - Alghero (B local food experience)

Begin your day with a walking tour of Alghero, a city rich in history and character with strong Catalan roots. This historic center offers a unique atmosphere, evident in the architecture, language, and city layout. As you stroll through its streets, admire the noble buildings, ancient structures, and picturesque alleys that give Alghero its distinctive charm and identity. At lunchtime, enjoy a memorable gastronomic experience at a local estate, where you will taste traditional Sardinian cuisine featuring authentic flavours from both land and sea. In the afternoon, continue with a visit to the ancient Nuragic site of Palmavera, admiring the well-preserved Bronze Age remains that highlight Sardinia’s prehistoric past. To end the day, head to Capo Caccia, where sweeping cliff views offer a perfect finale. Return to Alghero for some free time and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Alghero – Castelsardo – Tempio Pausania – Olbia (B, Gastronomic Experience)

Travel east across Sardinia with your first stop in Castelsardo, a charming hilltop town overlooking the beautiful Costa Paradiso. Explore its medieval center, wandering through narrow cobbled streets and admiring the historic architecture that tells stories of centuries past. Take in the stunning coastal views, perfect for photo opportunities and moments of relaxation. Next, head inland to Tempio Pausania, known for its peaceful atmosphere, granite architecture, and baroque churches. Enjoy a traditional Sardinian lunch featuring local specialties that showcase the region’s rich culinary heritage. After lunch, take a tour of Tempio Pausania to discover its historic sites and quaint streets, including artisan shops and picturesque squares. Later, continue your journey to Olbia, a lively port town famous for its pristine beaches and its role as the gateway to the exclusive Costa Smeralda. Here, spend some free time to experience the town’s vibrant energy, browse local markets, or relax before your next adventure.

Day 6: Olbia – Costa Smeralda - Olbia (B)
