Discover the fascinating contrasts of Old and New Delhi. Visit impressive monuments, explore colourful streets, weave through bustling Chandni Chowk on a traditional cycle rickshaw and sample local flavours during a guided walk through the famous Khari Baoli Spice Market. It's the perfect introduction to India's energy, colour and culture.

Day 3: Delhi - Corbett (250km) (B)

Leave the city behind and journey to Corbett National Park, India's oldest and one of its most celebrated wildlife reserves. Named after legendary conservationist Jim Corbett, this beautiful park is home to Bengal tigers, wild elephants, deer, leopards and over 600 species of birds.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at your wildlife resort before tomorrow's adventure begins.

Day 4: Corbett (B)

Today is all about wildlife. Venture deep into the forest on morning and afternoon jeep safaris with an experienced naturalist. Every game drive offers something different as you search for Bengal tigers, herds of elephants, crocodiles basking along riverbanks and an incredible variety of birdlife.
Between safaris, unwind at your resort surrounded by nature.

Day 5: Corbett - Agra (345km) (B)

Travel by train back to Delhi before continuing by road to Agra, home of India's most famous monument and one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Day 6: Agra (B)

Rise early to witness one of the world's most iconic sights as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the breathtaking Taj Mahal. As the white marble changes colour with the morning light, your guide will share the remarkable love story behind Emperor Shah Jahan's masterpiece, creating a truly unforgettable experience for the whole family. Return to your hotel for breakfast before continuing your exploration of Agra.
Later, visit the imposing Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and magnificent red sandstone fortress that once served as the seat of the powerful Mughal Empire. Continue to the elegant Itimad-ud-Daulah, often referred to as the 'Baby Taj' for its exquisite marble inlay work, before finishing at the peaceful Mehtab Bagh. Situated on the opposite bank of the Yamuna River, these beautiful gardens provide spectacular panoramic views of the Taj Mahal and offer one of the city's finest photographic opportunities.

Day 7: Agra – Ranthambhore (290km) (BLD)

Travel into Rajasthan, stopping to explore the remarkable abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri before continuing to Ranthambhore National Park.
After checking into your safari lodge, relax and prepare for more exciting wildlife encounters.

Day 8: Ranthambhore (BLD)

Head into Ranthambhore National Park for morning and afternoon jeep safaris. With its ancient ruins, lakes and dramatic landscapes, this is one of India's best places to spot Bengal tigers in the wild, along with sloth bears, crocodiles, monkeys, antelope and an abundance of birdlife.

Day 9: Ranthambhore – Jaipur (155km) (BL)

Journey into Rajasthan to the colourful Pink City of Jaipur, stopping en route at the remarkable Abhaneri Stepwell. Dating back over 1,200 years, this extraordinary architectural masterpiece features more than 3,000 perfectly symmetrical steps descending 20 metres into the earth. One of India's largest and deepest stepwells, it was ingeniously designed to collect precious rainwater and remains one of the country's most fascinating hidden treasures. Following lunch, continue to Jaipur and check into your hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is free to relax or perhaps begin exploring the vibrant streets and bustling bazaars of the Pink City at your own pace.

Day 10: Jaipur (B)

Step back into the world of India's maharajas as you discover the royal treasures of the Pink City. Begin with a visit to the magnificent Amer Fort, dramatically perched on a hillside overlooking Maota Lake. Wander through its impressive courtyards, ornate halls and beautifully decorated chambers, where stories of Rajasthan's royal past come to life. Continue to the elegant City Palace, a fascinating blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture that still serves as the residence of Jaipur's royal family, before visiting the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Jantar Mantar, home to the world's largest stone astronomical instruments. Pause for photographs at the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), with its intricate pink sandstone façade featuring hundreds of latticed windows, and admire the tranquil beauty of Jal Mahal, the enchanting Water Palace that appears to float in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.

Later, immerse yourself in Jaipur's colourful bazaars, where stalls brim with vibrant textiles, handcrafted jewellery, spices, leather goods and traditional Rajasthani handicrafts—perfect for finding a unique souvenir or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere.

This evening, experience one of India's favourite pastimes with a visit to Jaipur's legendary Raj Mandir Cinema.
