Day 1: Siem Reap
Welcome to Cambodia! Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey or perhaps head out to explore the lively night markets, sample local street food or browse the colourful souvenir stalls.
Day 2: Angkor Temples (B)
Step back in time as you discover the incredible temples of Angkor. Enter the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom through its impressive stone gateway before arriving at the mysterious Bayon Temple, famous for its giant smiling stone faces that children love to count and photograph.
Continue to the restored Baphuon Temple before walking along the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King, once used for royal ceremonies and adorned with intricate carvings.
Later, explore the magnificent Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument. Wander through its impressive galleries, towers and courtyards while learning about the fascinating stories carved into its walls. This unforgettable UNESCO World Heritage Site is sure to captivate every member of the family.
Day 3: Siem Reap - Hanoi (B)
Transfer by private vehicle to Siem Reap Airport for your flight to Vietnam. On arrival in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, take a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake where families gather to relax, play games and watch the local activities.
Day 4: Hanoi (B SF)
Discover the fascinating capital of Vietnam, where ancient traditions blend with modern city life. Visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum (outside view), his traditional stilt house and the unique One Pillar Pagoda before continuing to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university.
Later, wander through the bustling Old Quarter, filled with colourful shops, hidden alleyways, local markets and tempting food stalls. Around picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake there is always something happening, making it a wonderful place for families to experience everyday life in Hanoi.
As evening falls, discover why Hanoi is regarded as one of Asia's great food cities. Sample delicious Vietnamese favourites including banh mi, rice pancakes, pho and local desserts while exploring by foot, the vibrant streets of the Old Quarter.
Day 5: Hanoi (BLorD)
Today is free to further explore Hanoi. Browse the markets, visit one of the city's museums or simply soak up the atmosphere from one of the many cafés overlooking the busy streets.
For adventurous families, this unique tour provides a completely different perspective of Hanoi. Ride pillion on a classic Minsk motorcycle through hidden laneways, bustling neighbourhoods and lively markets rarely visited by tourists. Meet local residents, sample authentic Vietnamese dishes and finish with the city's famous egg coffee. Tour available for lunch or dinner.
Day 6: Hanoi - Lan Ha Bay Cruise (BLD)
Travel by private vehicle to Lan Ha Bay and board your overnight cruise. Sail amongst towering limestone islands rising dramatically from the emerald waters while passing secluded beaches and hidden coves.
Depending on your cruise, there may be opportunities to kayak, swim or simply relax on deck while taking in the spectacular scenery. As evening falls, savour dinner onboard before spending the night surrounded by one of Vietnam's most breathtaking natural landscapes.
Day 7: Lan Ha Bay – Danang – Hoi An (B)
Wake to the peaceful beauty of Lan Ha Bay as the morning light reflects across the calm waters. After breakfast, continue cruising before returning to shore.
Transfer by private vehicle to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Danang. On arrival, continue to the charming riverside town of Hoi An, renowned for its colourful lanterns, historic architecture and relaxed atmosphere.
Day 8: Hoi An & Tra Que Herb Village (BL)
Explore the beautifully preserved streets of UNESCO-listed Hoi An, where centuries-old merchant houses, colourful temples and quaint cafés line the narrow laneways. Later, cycle through peaceful countryside to Tra Que Herb Village. Meet local farmers, learn traditional gardening techniques and discover how herbs are grown using methods passed down through generations. A delicious regional lunch featuring fresh local ingredients completes this memorable family experience before returning to Hoi An. The remainder of the afternoon is free to browse the local markets, visit the riverside or head to nearby An Bang Beach.
Day 9: Hoi An (B)
Today is yours to discover more of Hoi An. Families may like to visit the beach, take a relaxing boat ride along the Thu Bon River, browse the colourful lantern shops or simply wander through the historic streets and riverside markets at their own pace.
Day 10: Hoi An (B)
Transfer by private vehicle to Danang Airport for your onward flight.
