Day 1: Dublin

Welcome to Ireland. Upon arrival at Dublin Airport, collect your rental vehicle and make your way to your accommodation. Ireland's vibrant capital offers a fascinating blend of history, culture and architecture. Depending on your arrival time, explore the city's historic centre, including Dublin Castle, Trinity College or the lively streets of Temple Bar.

Day 2: Dublin - Sligo/Donegal (B)

Travel west towards the Wild Atlantic Way, passing through the scenic landscapes of Ireland's Midlands. Arrive in County Sligo, a region closely associated with the poet W.B. Yeats. Visit the coastal villages of Strandhill and Mullaghmore, renowned for their Atlantic beaches and dramatic scenery. For a uniquely Irish experience, perhaps visit a traditional seaweed bath.

Day 3: Sligo/Donegal (B)

Today visit the spectacular Slieve League Cliffs, among the highest sea cliffs in Europe, where sheer rock faces rise dramatically above the Atlantic Ocean. Continue through Donegal Town and the fishing port of Killybegs, home to Ireland's largest fishing fleet. Those seeking a rewarding walk may climb Knocknarea Mountain to view Queen Maeve's Cairn, one of Ireland's most significant prehistoric monuments.

Day 4: Sligo/Donegal - Mayo (B)

Journey south along the rugged northwest coast to County Mayo. Visit the Céide Fields Visitor Centre, home to the world's oldest known field systems and one of Europe's most important archaeological landscapes. Continue to Newport, a charming town situated on the shores of Clew Bay and gateway to the Great Western Greenway.

Day 5: Mayo (B)

Discover the beauty of Achill Island, Ireland's largest offshore island, renowned for its dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches and Atlantic vistas. Later, visit the heritage town of Westport, celebrated for its Georgian architecture, colourful streets and attractive riverside setting.

Day 6: Mayo – Connemara - Galway (B)

Travel through some of Ireland's most spectacular scenery as you enter Connemara. Included today is a cruise on Killary Harbour, Ireland's only fjord. Continue to the market town of Clifden before visiting Kylemore Abbey, one of Ireland's most photographed landmarks. Time permitting, visit Omey Island and the fishing village of Roundstone, famous for its traditional crafts and coastal setting.

Day 7: Galway - Clare (B)

Spend time exploring Galway, known as the City of the Tribes, before travelling south into County Clare. Follow the scenic Black Head coastal route through the Burren, a remarkable limestone landscape unlike anywhere else in Ireland. Continue to the iconic Cliffs of Moher, where towering cliffs overlook the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 8: Clare - Kerry (B)

Take the Shannon Ferry from Killimer to Tarbert before continuing into County Kerry. Travel to the Dingle Peninsula, one of Ireland's most scenic regions. Visit the colourful fishing town of Dingle and follow the spectacular Slea Head Drive, passing ancient archaeological sites, sandy beaches and panoramic coastal viewpoints overlooking the Blasket Islands.

Day 9: Ring of Kerry (B)

Explore the famous Ring of Kerry, one of Ireland's most celebrated touring routes. Visit Valentia Island and the Skellig Experience Visitor Centre, where the story of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Skellig Michael is brought to life. Continue to Derrynane House, ancestral home of Daniel O'Connell, before travelling through the attractive heritage town of Kenmare.

Day 10: Kerry – Cork – Dublin (B)

Begin your journey back towards Dublin. Time permitting, stop in Cork City to visit the famous English Market or St Anne's Church. Continue to Cashel, where admission is included to the magnificent Rock of Cashel, one of Ireland's most significant medieval monuments. Arrive in Dublin for your final evening.

Day 11: Dublin (B)

Drive to Dublin Airport and drop off your rental vehicle prior to your onward flight.
