Day 1: Madrid (D)

Welcome to Spain. On arrival at Madrid Airport, you will be met by a representative of our local operator and assisted with your transfer to the hotel where accommodation is reserved for two nights. The remainder of the day is at leisure. This evening join your fellow travellers for an authentic Welcome Tapas Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight Madrid.
It is recommended that you arrive no later than 5pm today.

Day 2: Madrid (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, discover the beauties of the city with a guided city tour. During the tour today you will see the Barrio de la Morería, the Hapsburgs District, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa; the Madrid of the Bourbons and the complex town planning schemes of Charles III, the Royal Palace, Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains and the Puerta de Alcalá. Discover contemporary Madrid with areas such as Gran Vía, Castellana, the district of Salamanca, as well as the commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, and the Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. During your tour there will be an opportunity to taste the typical chocolate with churros, the most Madrid-style snack. The afternoon is at leisure for you to continue exploring the wonders that the city has to offer. Overnight Madrid.

Day 3: Madrid - Salamanca - Porto (B)

This morning you are bound for Portugal. Drive towards Salamanca where you will have some free time in this University City and World Heritage Site of great architectural and artistic wealth. Continue to the Portuguese border to reach Porto. Located along the Douro River estuary in northern Portugal, Porto is one of the oldest European towns and proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996. Overnight Porto.

Day 4: Porto (BD)

This morning you will discover Porto with a guided sightseeing tour. Admire the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building and the Santa Clara church. Afterwards, experience a different perspective of the city aboard a Douro River Cruise and discover famous Port Wine Cellars with a wine tasting included. Remainder of the day is at leisure. Tonight, you will experience a typical fado show with dinner with your fellow travellers. Overnight Porto.

Day 5: Porto - Aveiro - Coimbra (B)

Leave Porto this morning and head for Aveiro, known for its picturesque canals, which have earned it the nickname “The Venice of Portugal”. Here you will get to ride on a moliceiro, a traditional colourful boat used for navigating the canals of Aveiro, before heading to Coimbra located on the banks of the river Mondego. Meet with the local guide for a tour of Coimbra, an historic city known for its prestigious university (one of the oldest in Europe), charming medieval streets and beautiful riverfront. Overnight Coimbra.

Day 6: Coimbra - Batalha - Nazare - Lisbon (BD)

Breakfast at the hotel, then depart to the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline style considered a World Heritage place by UNESCO. Continue to the picturesque fishing town of Nazaré. Free time to explore then continue to Lisbon for a two-night stay. This evening you will cross the Tagus River to Cacihas and experience dinner at a local restaurant featuring seafood. Overnight Lisbon.

Day 7: Lisbon (B)

This morning, join a city sightseeing tour of the ancient Olissipo (Lisbon). Drive through the main squares and avenues. See the Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Monument to the Discoverers, Marquis of Pombal Square and Liberty Avenue. The afternoon will be at leisure for you to catch the nostalgic corners of Alfama Quarter, the old city gathered next to its Castle, with old buildings nested in narrow twisting “Ruas” full of colour and housing the genuine “tabernas”. Remainder of the day at leisure to explore his magnificent city. Overnight Lisbon.

Day 8: Lisbon - Merida - Cordoba (B)

This morning you are bound for the Andalusian soils of Spain. Drive to Merida, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its well-preserved Roman ruins, including the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre. Explore its rich historical heritage then continue to Cordoba, once the capital of the Caliphate. Overnight Cordoba.

Day 9: Cordoba - Seville (BD)

After breakfast at the hotel, discover the impressive tour of Cordoba's Mosque (entrance included) and other sites that will ease your mind and spirit as you stroll through the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon continue your journey to reach Seville where accommodation is reserved for two nights. Tonight, you will have the opportunity to discover the traditional Andalusian cuisine at a local restaurant with your fellow travellers. Overnight Seville.

Day 10: Seville (B)

This morning embark on a city tour of the Andalusian Capital, Seville. Visit the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), the Santa Cruz quarter, the natural scenario of “Carmen” as well as the myth of “Don Juan”; Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. The afternoon is at leisure for you to further discover the city of light. Overnight Seville.

Day 11: Seville - Jerez - Ronda (B)

Leave Seville this morning after breakfast and drive south passing typical Andalusian villages to reach Jerez, where you will be captivated by two of the essential elements of the Andalusian soul: wine and horses. Visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and indulge in a wine tasting in one of the famous local wineries. Continue your journey to Ronda. Visit an olive oil production facility at LA Organic and taste their organic olive oil. Remainder of the day at leisure to discover the secrets of Ronda. Overnight Ronda.

Day 12: Ronda - Gibraltar - Algeciras - Tetouan (BD)

After breakfast this morning, you will head to Gibraltar to explore the Rock. There will be some free time to discover Gibraltar before traveling to Algeciras, where you'll catch a ferry to Tangier. Upon arriving in Tangier, your first encounter with Morocco, you will be transferred to Tetouan. Known as "The White Dove," Tetouan's Medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight Tetouan.

Day 13: Tetouan - Chefchaouen - Fez (BD)

This morning embark on a panoramic visit of the most interesting places in Tetouan before continuing to Chefchaouen, considered the Blue City due to the colour of its houses and streets. Visit the city, walking through its Uta El Hamman square, with free time for shopping and lunch. This afternoon, depart for Fez, crossing the Rif Mountain range and arriving at Fez in the late afternoon. Dinner at your hotel this evening. Overnight Fez.

Day 14: Fez (BLD)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart on a visit to the country’s religious city. Founded in the 8th century by Idriss II, it is considered one of the Four Imperial Capitals. During this visit, a tour is conducted through the most emblematic places, such as the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish quarter, and the fortress that offers the best view of Fez el Bali, the medina or old city. A walking tour will lead you to the famous Bab Bou Jeloud gate, offering a glimpse into a part of the city that still lives close to the Middle Ages. Walls protect its interior, formed by hundreds of labyrinthine alleys where visitors can experience a multitude of smells and flavours in this UNESCO World Heritage site. Arrival at a palace in the city for a practical class on how to prepare one of Morocco's most typical dishes, couscous. Guests will help the cooks finish this dish. Finally, lunch is served at this location. In the afternoon, visit nearby vineyards for a wine tasting session. Dinner at your hotel. Overnight Fez.

Day 15: Fez - Casablanca - Marrakech (BD)

This morning depart from Fez and travel via the highway to Marrakech. A stop is made in Casablanca with free time for lunch and a visit to the city. The tour includes the United Nations Square, Habous Quarter, and finally the exterior of the great Hassan II Mosque. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon. Dinner at your hotel. Overnight Marrakech.

Day 16: Marrakech (BD)

Today discover Marrakech, capital of the South, located within an extensive oasis between the Atlas Mountains and the pre-desertic area. Begin your city tour with a visit to the magnificent Menara Gardens, which feature a side pavilion and countless olive trees. Afterwards, view the outside of the Koutoubia Minaret, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville. Once inside the old part of the city, visit the Dar el Bacha Museum, known for its spectacular architecture. Finally, head to the Jamaa el Fnaa square, one of Morocco's most interesting places, from where you can access the souks and medina. In the afternoon, visit different artisan guilds, including woodworkers, potters, tanners, and spice merchants. At some point, visit a riad in the medina, a palace house, for a special moment; a traditional tea ceremony conducted by an expert. Learn how to make this important Moroccan beverage, which is an integral part of the country's culture. Dinner at your hotel. Overnight Marrakech.

Day 17: Marrakech - Rabat (BD)

Breakfast and early departure to Rabat, the capital of the country. In Rabat you will see the gates of the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Dinner is included at your hotel this evening. Overnight Rabat.

Day 18: Rbat - Tangier - Tarifa - Malaga (B)

This morning you will depart for Tangier. Upon arrival there will be a panoramic tour of Cape Spartel, the palace route, and finally the Kasbah, from where the city’s inhabitants defended against pirate attacks centuries ago. Transfer to the Tangier port for a fast catamaran to Tarifa in Spain. Drive on to Malaga where accommodation is reserved for one night.

Day 19: Malaga - Granada (BD)

After breakfast, visit the city and explore its historical and cultural attractions. Malaga is a city full of corners that look back on several centuries of history, from the time of the Romans (with its magnificent theatre) to the Arab, with the Alcazaba or the Castle of Gibralfaro. Continue to Granada. This city, located at the foot of Sierra Nevada, between the Darro and Genil rivers, is one of the jewels of Andalusia. Here, the impressive Andalusian legacy, represented by the Alhambra, is complemented by Renaissance architectural gems. You will have the chance to learn how to dance flamenco before attending a dinner with a flamenco show in one of the most typical venues in Granada. After dinner, take the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful views of Granada from one of the city's viewpoints. Overnight Granada.

Day 20: Granada - Madrid (BD)

After breakfast, visit the city and explore its historical and cultural attractions. Malaga is a city full of corners that look back on several centuries of history, from the time of the Romans (with its magnificent theatre) to the Arab, with the Alcazaba or the Castle of Gibralfaro.
