Day 1: Cairo
Welcome to Egypt. On arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be welcomed by our local Airport representative PRIOR to immigration who will assist you with your included Egyptian Visa. Your special fast track immigration service ensures priority access. After immigration clearance, you will be assisted with your luggage collection and customs control by our local team, then transferred by private vehicle to your hotel in the Giza area. You will be assisted with your hotel check in then have the remainder of the day at leisure. Settle in and begin your Egyptian adventure.

Day 2: Cairo (B)
A day to remember! Meet your private Egyptologist and set out on an unforgettable journey through the wonders of ancient Egypt, beginning with the legendary Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx.
Stand before the extraordinary Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, built thousands of years ago and the only surviving wonder of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Your Egyptologist will bring the fascinating stories of their construction, the pharaohs who commissioned them and the civilisation that created them to life.
Continue to the mighty Sphinx, its monumental lion's body and human head standing guard over the Giza plateau for more than 4,500 years.
Optional (supplement applies): For an unforgettable family experience, take a camel ride across the desert sands with the magnificent Pyramids forming the backdrop.
A reservation is included at 9 Pyramids Lounge, where you can pause for lunch overlooking one of the world's most iconic archaeological landscapes. Lunch is at your own expense and payable directly at the restaurant.
This afternoon, continue to the spectacular Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), located beside the Pyramids. Discover an extraordinary collection spanning more than 7,000 years of Egyptian history, with thousands of artefacts revealing the lives, beliefs and achievements of this remarkable civilisation. Enter beneath the colossal statue of Ramses II before ascending the Grand Staircase, where monumental treasures and statues showcase the power and grandeur of ancient Egypt. Continue through the galleries exploring Egypt's prehistoric beginnings, pharaohs, gods and everyday life along the Nile, including the spectacular Tutankhamun collection and its treasures from the Boy King's tomb. Allow time to browse the museum's shopping arcade or pause at one of its cafés before returning to your hotel after an extraordinary day immersed in the wonders of ancient Egypt.
Day 3: Cairo (B)
Today offers the opportunity to discover another side of Cairo. Explore historic Old Cairo and visit some of the city's fascinating Islamic and Christian landmarks before continuing to the atmospheric lanes of Khan El Khalili bazaar.
The remainder of the day is free to explore further, relax at your hotel or perhaps browse the colourful markets for souvenirs.
Day 4: Cairo - Luxor (B)
Transfer by private vehicle to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, you will be met and transferred privately to your first-class hotel.
Settle into your surroundings overlooking the Nile, with the remainder of the day free to relax. Take in the peaceful atmosphere of Luxor and watch the feluccas glide along the river as the sun sets over the western bank.
Day 5: Luxor (B)
Embark on a journey across the Nile to the illustrious Valley of the Kings, where numerous magnificent tombs lie waiting to be explored, among them the resting places of Ramses II and Tutankhamun. Continue to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, named after the Ethiopian king, slain by Achilles during the battle of Troy.

Afterwards, head out to explore one of the world’s most remarkable open-air museums – Thebes. Visit the magnificent Luxor Temple then follow the Avenue of the Sphinx to the Temple complex of Karnak. This gigantic site was added to by approximately 30 different Pharaohs over time, which goes some way to explaining its immense size and majestic grandeur.
Day 6: Luxor (B)
Begin your day with a private transfer from your hotel to a traditional local restaurant. After a welcome tea or coffee, meet your host and select the Egyptian dish you will prepare during today's hands-on cooking experience. Accompanied by your host, visit a vibrant local souq to select fresh ingredients, spices, herbs and vegetables while discovering the atmosphere of everyday life in Luxor. Return to the restaurant for your cooking class, learning traditional Egyptian techniques and preparing your chosen dish step by step. Afterwards, sit down to a traditional Egyptian lunch and taste the meal you have created.
Leisure time before a late afternoon, transfer to Jolie Ville Kings Island Resort for a peaceful kayaking experience. Following a short safety briefing and equipment orientation, set off through the tranquil lagoon and waterways surrounding Kings Island. Paddle for approximately 50 minutes through lush gardens, palm trees, small islands and quiet waterways, offering a completely different perspective of the Nile landscape. As the sun begins to set, the changing colours reflected across the water create a particularly memorable end to the day. Return to your hotel by private transfer.
Note: The kayaking experience can also be arranged in the early morning for a sunrise adventure. Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended.
Day 7: Luxor - Hurghada (B)
After breakfast, depart Luxor by private vehicle for Hurghada. Travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Eastern Desert as you make your way towards the Red Sea coast.
On arrival, check into your first-class beachfront resort and settle into your new surroundings.
The remainder of the day is free to relax beside the pool or on the beach.
Day 8: Hurghada (B)
Today is dedicated to relaxation beside the Red Sea.
Spend the day at your resort, with time to swim, relax on the beach or make use of the resort's facilities. Those looking for more adventure can choose from a range of optional Red Sea activities, including snorkelling and boat excursions to discover the spectacular underwater world.
Day 9: Hurghada (B)
Another leisurely day beside the Red Sea. Take a morning swim, relax on the beach or simply make the most of the resort and its surroundings.
For those who prefer to be active, optional water activities and excursions can be arranged.
This evening, settle in for your final night beside the Red Sea.
Day 10: Hurghada (B)
After breakfast transfer to the airport. End of arrangements.
