Day 1: Budapest

Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, your crew will be introduced at a welcome cocktail. Dinner tonight will be followed by an optional excursion for both packages: An evening of traditional entertainment in Budapest.

Day 2: Budapest - Esztergom

Join us for the excursion proposed for both packages: Guided tour of Budapest. We'll return on board in Esztergom. In the afternoon, spend some time on your own exploring the former capital of Hungary. The city is full of treasures such as the Neo-classical basilica and former Royal palace. Return on board and depart for Vienna. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Day 3: Vienna

Upon arriving in Vienna, join us for an optional excursion for both packages: A visit to the Hofburg Palace, former residence of the Hapsburgs. Tonight, join us on an excursion for both packages: Tour Vienna by night.

Day 4: Vienna

This morning, join us for the excursions proposed: CLASSIC: Guided tour of the Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Imperial family, followed by a panoramic tour of the city. Vienna, the cradle of music, is streaming with activity around the cathedral. DISCOVERY: The high art of Viennese living, music and Viennese cafes. Stroll through the city and visit back stage in the Konzerthaus(2) concert hall. After the tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry. There will be a free afternoon to explore this marvellous city at your own pace or take part in an optional excursion (not included in the packages): Horse-drawn carriage ride through the old town and the famous Ring road in Vienna. This evening, join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Concert of Viennese music (subject to availability - supplement applies.) The ship will depart at midnight.

(2) The tour of the Konzerthaus might be replaced by a tour of the Musikverein or the opera if it is booked for shows or not available

Day 5: Melk

Cruise along the most beautiful section of the Wachau Valley this morning, all the way to Melk. Then set off on an optional excursion for both packages: Tour of Dürnstein, the fortified village where Richard the Lionheart was once held prisoner. In the afternoon, join us on an excursion proposed for both packages: Visit the Melk Abbey. Originally a Baroque-style palace built between 1702 and 1736, it is now a Benedictine monastery that hosts a prestigious coed school with more than 900 students. Return on board and cruise towards Passau. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Day 6: Passau

Set out to explore Passau in the company of hostess, strolling the narrow romantic streets and admiring is Baroque-style buildings. Then cruise to Regensburg through the night.

Day 7: Regensburg - Kelheim

Join the excursion proposed for both packages: Guided tour of Regensburg and the Walhalla hall of fame which overhangs the river. Return on board in Kelheim and cruise the Rhine-Main-Danube Canal to Nuremberg.

Day 8: Nuremberg - Erlangen - Bamberg

Arrive in Nuremberg in the morning. Join us on an excursion proposed for both packages: Guided tour of the city and tasting of its famous gingerbread. Nuremberg is Bavaria's second-largest city and an energetic place where the nightlife is intense and the beer is as dark as coffee. Return on board in Erlangen and criuse to Bamberg.

Day 9: Bamberg - Schweinfurt - Gerlachschausen 

Spend this morning cruising to Schweinfurt. Join us on an excursion proposed for both packages: Tour of Rothenburg, a magnificent walled town set up high on the hills over the river its narrow streets lined with picturesque half-timbered houses and workshops. It is one of the most beautiful towns on the historic Romantic Road. Return on board in Gerlachshausen. Cruise through the night.

Day 10: Würzburg - Karlstadt - Wertheim

Join us on an excursion for both packages: Guided tour of Würzburg, nestled in a beautiful, hilly location on the river and possessing a wealth of history. You will also visit the Residenz, former former residence of the prince-bishops. Return on board in Karlstadt. Spend the afternoon cruising to Wertheim.

Day 11: Wertheim - Miltenberg - Frankfurt

Leave to explore Miltenberg in the company of the hostess and discover this charming, very typical German village. Its marketplace surrounded by half-timbered houses, its Grande Rue and former Town Hall make Miltenberg a unique town and the "pearl of the Main". Cruise to Frankfurt.

Day 12: Frankfurt - Mainz

Join us for the excursions proposed: CLASSIC: Tour of Frankfurt. DISCOVERY: Panoramic tour of Frankfurt and ascent of the Main Tower. Return on board and cruise to Mainz. Gutenberg's hometown, Mainz lies at the confluence of the Rhine and the Main and is a perfect blend of past and present. Its age-old cathedral is not to be missed. You'll be able to explore the city in the company of the hostess. Tonight is a gala dinner and evening.

Day 13: Strasbourg

Spend the morning cruising to Strasbourg. After lunch on board, reach Strasbourg where you will have a free afternoon in the city to do as you please. The crew will be introduced at a welcome cocktail. Spend the night cruising towards Mannheim.

Day 14: Mannheim - Nierstein - Rudesheim(3)

Join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Heidelberg. Cruise towards Rüdesheim. This afternoon, join us for the excursions proposed: CLASSIC: Guided tour of Rüdesheim by touristic train, tasting of the famous wines of the region and guided visit of the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments. DISCOVERY: Hiking through the vineyards in Rüdesheim. In the evening, time at leisure to discover the Drosselgassse.

(3) Depending on mooring availabilities, the stopover in Rüdesheim may be preceded by a stopover in Bingen; the schedule of excursions may be modified.

Day 15: Rudesheim - Cologne

Cruise along the most beautiful section of the romantic Rhine, passing the legendary Lorelei Rock, where lush vineyards and castles stretch as far as the eye can see along both banks. Cruise to Cologne, and take advantage of a stopover to discover the city with our hostess. Then return to the ship and begin to cruise towards Amsterdam. Tonight is a gala dinner and evening.

Day 16: Amsterdam or surroundings(4)

The day will be spent cruising.

(4) The Port of Amsterdam may unexpectedly decide to change the mooring places for cruise ships. In case of modification, an alternative will be set up as close as possible to the city of Amsterdam.

Day 17: Amsterdam

Join us for the excursion proposed: CLASSIC: Guided tour of Amsterdam. The Dutch capital is indeed a truly delightful city with a rich and fascinating past, offering its visitors a striking contrast between traditional Dutch architecture and other more unusual landmarks such as the Red Light district. DISCOVERY: Amsterdam by bike. This afternoon, join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Volendam and Zaanse Schans. The evening is free to do as you please.

Day 18: Amsterdam

One last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services
