ITALY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Coach Tours

  • Coach tours may operate in conjunction with other scheduled tours, therefore fellow travellers may differ during the journey.
  • Luggage allowance: 1 suitcase is included in the tour price (23-30kg) and 1 carry on bag per person.
  • Tours are not recommended for people with difficulty walking
  • Hotels may charge a fee for luggage storage
  • City Taxes are NOT included. These need to be paid directly to hotels on arrival.
Current guideline – Euros per person per night:
    Rome:
    Hotel 3★: €6
    Hotel 4★:  €7.50
    Hotel 5★: €10
    Florence from €3.50 to €8
    Venice from €1 to €5
  • Hotels in Italy generally have smaller rooms than many parts of Europe, especially in historic cities such as Rome, Venice and Florence, where standard double rooms are often around 14–20 m². They can feel more compact due to older buildings, smaller bathrooms and limited storage. Modern hotels outside Italy’s historic centres, tend to have slightly larger, more practical room layouts than traditional city-centre properties.
  • Venice Mestre and Tronchetto hotels are commonly used by coach tours because large buses cannot access central Venice and may be of a slightly lower standard as used for location.
  • Your passport is required if visiting Pompeii – your booking must match the name in your passport
  • Should a museum, archaeological site, or any other place of interest included in the itiner-ary be closed due to force majeure or circumstances beyond our control, and if reschedul-ing the visit is not possible, we reserve the right to offer an alternative activity of equal val-ue. If no suitable alternative is available, a partial refund will be issued for the unused ser-vice
  • Overnight in hotels or similar
  • Itinerary is subject to change at any time
  • For all tours that include lunches or dinners, please advise us of any dietary requests (eg vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc)
  • During peak season, access to the Blue Grotto in Capri may involve long queues and limited entry. If visiting is not possible due to weather conditions or capacity restrictions, alternative sightseeing such as the Faraglioni Rocks or similar experiences will be arranged by the guides.
  • As many hotels in Sorrento close seasonally from November to March, accommodation may at times be provided in neighbouring areas or in the best available hotels, which may include selected 3★ properties. Every effort will be made by our local operator to ensure a
comfortable stay and maintain the overall quality of the tour experience
  • If 12 pax are not reached on departures – the tours MAY operate with two languages on board.
  • Rome Airport meeting instructions – Drivers will be waiting at the following points – look for a sign with your name on it:
    • Terminal 1: The "Meeting Point" column (the only column).
    • Terminal 3: The "Meeting Point" column number 2.
    • Assistants will be stationed at Meeting Point 3 in Terminal 3
