Egyptian Ambassador to New Zealand, HS Mrs Dina Farouk El Sehy, said at Egypt’s National Day celebrations in Wellington yesterday , she is delighted to see the upward trend of New Zealanders once again travelling to Egypt.
Speaking to Robyn Galloway MD of Innovative Travel, the Ambassador acknowledged Innovative Travel’s long-standing commitment to Egypt, which has continued for over 30 years. Ambassador El Sehy said the relationship between New Zealand is strengthening in both tourism and trade, with New Zealander tourists enjoying a very warm welcome in Egypt.
The opening of the new Grand Egyptian Museum in November, dedicated to the boy king Tutankhamun is already impacting on tourism bookings for 2023, making Egypt a very sought-after destination.
Innovative Travel’s Robyn Galloway says during her recent inspection trip in April, the high level of locally operated Nile cruise ships is impressive and easily able to cater to increasing demand for a luxury Nile cruise ship experience. It is important for travellers to book early for 2023, to ensure confirmations.
