Day 1: Venice, Italy 

Embarkation at Venice San Basilio port begins at 3pm. The dedicated crew aboard the Variety Cruises vessel ensures your safety with an essential safety drill before you set sail. Join for a delightful welcome cocktail and dinner during which you will get to know your crew and fellow passengers!

Day 2:  Venice, Italy

The boat will remain docked all day at the San Basilio port. After your included onboard breakfast, join the optional 6.5-hour Venice Tour, which highlights all the most memorable attractions of this romantic city. Stroll across the iconic Rialto Bridge and explore the lively Rialto fish market, then hop aboard a traditional gondola for a romantic cruise along the Grand Canal. Finally, visit St. Mark's Basilica and enjoy skip-the-line entrance to the grandiose Doge’s Palace.

You will also have free time to uncover the enchanting and mesmerizing facets of Venice on your own and savour lunch at one of the city’s beautiful restaurants. In the evening, join the Signature Cocktail Demonstration Experience to tantalize your taste buds before the included on-board dinner. The boat remains in Venice overnight, providing the perfect opportunity to explore the city by night.

Day 3: Venice - Koper, Slovenia 

Early in the morning, just before 7am, the boat will depart from Venice for your next destination, Koper, Slovenia. Spend a relaxing morning sailing with your fellow travellers. Around 1:30pm, the boat will arrive in Koper, a charming coastal town known for its picturesque old town, vibrant harbour, and rich history dating back to Roman times. With its blend of Venetian architecture, lively cafes, and proximity to stunning Adriatic beaches, Koper offers visitors a delightful mix of culture, relaxation, and seaside charm. Alternatively, you can join one of the two optional tours: explore the fascinating Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle or experience truffle hunting followed by a truffle product tasting. Spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure before joining for an included dinner on board with your co-travellers. The boat will remain in Koper overnight, giving you the opportunity to explore the town by night at your own pace.

Day 4: Koper - Piran, Slovenia

Early in the morning, the boat will depart from Koper for your next destination, Piran, Slovenia. Arrive in Piran, a captivating seaside town renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture, narrow cobblestone streets, and panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea. Wander through the charming old town, explore historic landmarks like the Venetian House, and savour fresh seafood delicacies while soaking in the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere. You can spend the day exploring on your own or join the optional food and wine tour, sampling an array of local specialties such as olive oil, seafood, truffles, and ice cream. Alternatively, discover the cultural heart of Slovenia on the optional day trip to Ljubljana from Piran, where you can explore historic landmarks like The Town Hall, The Triple Bridge, and St. Nicholas Cathedral. As Europe's Green Capital since 1991, Ljubljana offers a unique blend of tradition and modernity which you will uncover via this tour. In the evening, dinner on board as the boat departs from Piran and sets sail for your next destination, the beautiful Opatija in Croatia.

Day 5: Opatija, Croatia

The boat docks in Opatija in the morning, unveiling a charming coastal retreat ensconced between the shimmering Adriatic Sea and the verdant slopes of Mount Učka. Renowned for its Belle Époque architecture, enchanting promenade, and verdant parks, Opatija has beckoned travellers since the 19th century, offering an idyllic fusion of relaxation, culture, and natural splendour. Feel free to wander Opatija at your leisure or join for the guided optional tour to the captivating realm of Plitvice Lakes. Here, sixteen crystalline lakes, adorned with myriad waterfalls, paint a scene of ethereal beauty amidst untouched wilderness, where mountainous forests and invigorating mountain air work their magic on all who wander through. Later, savour dinner with fellow travellers, soaking in the camaraderie of shared experiences. With the boat departing Opatija around midnight, you have ample time to meander through town or indulge in a refreshing cocktail, rounding off your day with the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Day 6: Pula, Croatia

In the morning, the boat glides into Pula, a captivating coastal city renowned for its impeccably preserved Roman amphitheatre, considered one of the world's finest ancient arenas. Yet, Pula's allure extends far beyond its ancient wonders, offering visitors pristine beaches, bustling markets, and a rich tapestry of history and culture begging to be explored. You're welcome to uncover Pula at your own pace or partake in the optional guided walking tour led by a knowledgeable local guide. Discover Pula's most storied landmarks and iconic architecture, including the awe-inspiring Pula Arena, the sole Roman amphitheatre boasting four impeccably preserved side towers, and the imposing fortress of the old town. Tonight, you are extended a special invitation to join the Captain's Dinner, featuring an enchanting Italian-themed evening replete with delectable Italian cuisine and captivating melodies. Prepare to bid farewell to Pula as you set sail for your next destination: the splendid Italian city of Ravenna!

Day 7: Ravenna, Italy 

In the morning, the boat reaches Ravenna, a city steeped in history and renowned for its stunning Byzantine mosaics, which adorn its churches and monuments, including the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Basilica of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia. Nestled in the Emilia-Romagna region, Ravenna's rich artistic and cultural heritage, along with its charming streets and squares, make it a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and art lovers alike. You may explore the city on your own or join the optional guided Ravenna UNESCO Monuments & Pasta Tour of Ravenna's famous landmarks and combine it with a culinary journey through the city's traditional cuisine, diving into the culinary delights of Ravenna. There will be some free time to explore Ravenna on your own before joining the evening on board dinner. The boat leaves after midnight, so you will have the opportunity to explore Ravenna by night for a cocktail or a gelato.

Day 8: Venice

In the morning (approx. 8am), you will arrive in Venice, the enchanting "City of Canals." Disembarkation is scheduled for 10am, after breakfast.

Such itinerary changes do not automatically entitle passengers to any refunds, but Variety Cruises guarantees that passengers are disembarked at the advertised port of disembarkation on time for their flights.

THE M/Y CALLISTO - Motor Yacht
The M/Y Callisto, built with the most stringent safety regulations, was launched in 2000 and was fully refit in 2016. A spacious lounge with ample space, dining areas decorated with warm colors, rich library and deck for sunbathing, outdoor dining area and loungers are just some of the elements that define her essence.

CABIN SPECIFICATIONS:
The Callisto's 17 outside guest cabins are located on the Main and Lower Decks, with large portholes or windows. Elegantly decorated, they have either twin or double sized beds and bathrooms with showers en suite. All cabins are comfortably arranged and beautifully furnished with wooden furniture and light fabrics. Cabins have individually controlled A/C, offer storage space, and are fitted with flatscreen TV's, mini fridge, telephone (for internal use), hairdryers, central music, public address system and safe boxes.

Category C Lower Deck

Twin Beds

The Category C cabins are located on the lower deck featuring port holes. They all have marble-appointed en suite bathrooms wth showers. The cabins have individually controlled A/C, TV, telephone (for internal use), hairdryers, mini-fridge, central music, public address syetem and safe deposit box.

Category B Lower Deck

Twin Beds

The Category B cabins are located on the lower deck featuring port holes. They have marble-appointed en suite bathroom with shower. The cabins are equipped with individually controlled A/C, TV, telephone (for internal use), hairdryers, mini-fridge, central music, public address system and safe deposit box.

Category A Main Deck

Double or Twin Beds

The Category A cabins are located on the main deck featuring large windows. Category A cabins at the bow section of the Main deck are equipped with Double beds, while all other Category A cabins are eqipped with Twin beds. All cabins have marble-appointed en suite bathrooms with showers, individually controlled A/C, TV, telephone (for internal use), hairdryer, mini-fridge, central music, public address system and safe deposit box.

Category P Main Deck

Double or Twin Beds

The Category P cabins are located on the Main Deck feautring large windows. Category P cabins located at the bow section of the Main Deck are equipped with double beds, while all other Category P cabins at the Main Deck are equipped with twin beds. Cabins have marble-apointed en suite bathrooms with shower, individually controlled A/C, TV, telephone (for internal use), hairdryer, mini-fridge, central music syste, public address system and safe deposit box.

Service on board is provided by your Captain, the Cruise Coordinator and your experienced Marine and Hotel crew members. Service will be attentive or unobtrusive according to your requirements and priority is always given to the safety and comfort of passengers.

LIFE ON BOARD
During the day, life on board centers around the indoor lounge area and dining room, as well as the outdoor areas at the Upper and Sun deck. Located on the Sundeck, the Library with its wrapped around windows is the ideal area to relax with a book, while engaging the passing scenery. The Captain will drop anchor at secluded bays and beautiful islands where, weather permitting, guests enjoy swimming, snorkeling.
 

UPPER DECK LOUNGE & DINING ROOM
The lounge/bar and indoor dining room on the Upper deck are connected with each other by the gallery, displaying exquisite art and adding to the overall feeling of elegance and style. The classy dining room accommodates all guests at one single seating.

UPPER DECK DINING AREA
The outdoor Dining area where meals are served “al fresco” (weather permitting), is located on the Upper Deck being the ideal place to admire the passing scenery or enjoy your meal overlooking the stars.

SUN DECK
The vessel features a Sun Deck with a sitting area to relax and enjoy unobstructed views and with ample Sun loungers’ space to sunbathe under the Mediterranean sun. In the evening you can watch the sunset, enjoy a drink overlooking the stars.
