You will start the visit with a panoramic tour of the city giving you an overview of the various monuments of the capital. You will take the coach to the Bucharest Eco-museum (1), an authentic village in the city where you will discover the habitats of the different regions of Romania and their handcrafts. The visit will end with a photo stop at The Palace of Parliament, a gigantic neo-classical style marble construction designed by Ceausescu and then you will visit the Stavropoleos Monastery or the Kretzulescu Church(2). Return on board in Ruse.

Day 6: The Iron Gates

The entire day will be spent cruising on the Danube. Your ship will pass through the Iron Gates, the gorge on the Danube that forms part of the boundary between Serbia and Romania.
