Day 1: Madrid (D)

Welcome to Spain. On arrival at Madrid Airport, you will be met by a representative of our local operator and assisted with your transfer to the hotel where accommodation is reserved for two nights. The remainder of the day is at leisure. This evening join your fellow travellers for an authentic Welcome Tapas Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight Madrid.

Day 2: Madrid (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, discover the beauties of the city with a guided city tour with your local expert. During the tour today you will see the Barrio de la Morería, the Hapsburgs District, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa; the Madrid of the Bourbons and the complex town planning schemes of Charles III, the Royal Palace, Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains and the Puerta de Alcalá. Discover contemporary Madrid with areas such as Gran Vía, Castellana, the district of Salamanca, as well as the commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, and the Santiago Bernabéu Football Stadium. During your tour there will be an opportunity to taste the typical chocolate with churros, the most Madrid-style snack. The afternoon is at leisure for you to continue exploring the wonders that the city has to offer. Overnight Madrid.

Day 3: Madrid – Merida – Cordoba (B)

This morning head for Andalusian soils. Drive to Merida, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its well-preserved Roman ruins, including the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre. Explore its rich historical heritage then continue to Cordoba, once the capital of the Caliphate. Overnight Cordoba.

Day 4: Cordoba - Seville (BD)

After breakfast at the hotel, discover the impressive tour of Cordoba's Mosque (entrance included) and other sites that will ease your mind and spirit as you stroll through the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon continue your journey to reach Seville where accommodation is reserved for two nights. Tonight, you will have the opportunity to discover the traditional Andalusian cuisine at a local restaurant with your fellow travellers. Overnight Seville.

Day 5: Seville (B)

This morning embark on a city tour of the Andalusian Capital, Seville with your local expert. Visit the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), the Santa Cruz quarter, the natural scenario of “Carmen” as well as the myth of “Don Juan”; Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. The afternoon is at leisure for you to further discover the city of light. Overnight Seville.

Day 6: Seville - Jerez - Ronda (B)

Leave Seville this morning after breakfast and drive south passing typical Andalusian villages to reach Jerez, where you will be captivated by two of the essential elements of the Andalusian soul: wine and horses. Visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and indulge in a wine tasting in one of the famous local wineries. Continue your journey to Ronda. Visit an olive oil production facility at LA Organic and taste their organic olive oil. Remainder of the day at leisure to discover the secrets of Ronda. Overnight Ronda.

Day 7: Ronda - Malaga – Granada (BD)

This morning you will depart for Malaga and visit the city and explore its historical and cultural attractions. Malaga is a city full of corners that look back on several centuries of history, from the time of the Romans (with its magnificent theatre) to the Arab, with the Alcazaba or the Castle of Gibralfaro. Continue to Granada. This city, located at the foot of Sierra Nevada, between the Darro and Genil rivers, is one of the jewels of Andalusia. Here, the impressive Andalusian legacy, represented by the Alhambra, is complemented by Renaissance architectural gems. You will have the chance to learn how to dance flamenco before attending a dinner with a flamenco show in one of the most typical venues in Granada. After dinner, take the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful views of Granada from one of the city's viewpoints. Overnight Granada.

Day 8: Granada - Madrid (B)

This morning visit the world famous Alhambra complex with your local expert (entrance included) and the Generalife Gardens. Upon completion of the tour, you will depart for Madrid. This evening join your fellow travellers for a farewell dinner. Overnight Madrid.

Day 9: Madrid (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

  • In the event that the guided tour of Madrid is not operated for technical reasons it will be replaced by the Madrid Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus instead.
  • Due to limited coach capacity only one piece of luggage per person is allowed. The single bag should not weigh more than 25kg and have a maximum dimension of 157cm (the dimensional measurement of a suitcase is the sum of the length, width and height). Oversized suitcases will only be accepted if shared by two passengers
