Day 1: Ajaccio
Passengers are welcome to board at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Tonight, we’ll enjoy dinner, an evening of activities on board, and our ship will begin its cruise on the Mediterranean Sea.
Day 2: At Sea
We’ll spend the entire day at sea.
Day 3: Barcelona
This morning, we’ll set out on a guided tour of Barcelona. The next stop will be La Boqueria Market for a taste of some Spanish cold cuts. In the afternoon, join us for a tour of La Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudi’s magnum opus. Afterward, we'll take a stroll through Park Güell, another Gaudi urban masterpiece. Join us for an evening of dinner and dancing. Our ship will cruise to Palma overnight.
Day 4: Palma
Join us for a, full-day excursion to discover Mallorca. After our excursion, we'll begin to cruise to Valencia. Join us for an evening of dinner and dancing.
Day 5: Valencia
This morning, we’ll set out on a guided tour of Valencia. Spain's third-largest city has a thriving cultural and social scene basked in a wonderful climate. OR Join us for an optional excursion along the Route of the Borgias. The cultural route traces the history of one of the most influential families in Spain: The Borgias. You’re free to do as you please in the afternoon. Our ship will cruise to Cartagena. Join us for an evening of dinner and dancing.
Day 6: Cartagena
This morning, we’ll set out on a guided tour of Murcia. This sun-drenched city has a fascinating history and grand Baroque architecture. Enjoy some free time on your own in Cartagena this afternoon. Our ship will begin to cruise towards Malaga. Join us for dinner and an evening of entertainment.
Day 7: Malaga
We’ll spend the morning cruising. On our arrival in the afternoon, join us for a tour of the city where Pablo Picasso was born. We’ll visit the Picasso Foundation Birthplace Museum in the building where he was born in 1881, which houses works and personal belongings from the artist and his family. Our ship will begin to cruise towards Malaga. Join us for an evening of dinner and dancing.
Day 8: Cadiz
We’ll spend the morning on a guided visit of Cadiz. We’ll visit the largely Baroque-style cathedral that was built between 1722 and 1838—the city’s golden age. In the afternoon, we'll head out on an excursion to Jerez de la Frontera. We’ll visit a “ganadería. After, we’ll continue our excursion at the Tio Pepe winery (or similar establishment), where we’ll have a taste* one of the best wines in Spain. Our ship will cruise towards Portimao. Join us for dinner and an evening of entertainment.
Day 9: Portimao
We’ll spend the morning on an optional guided visit of the Algarve Region. Our tour will take you to the highlights of this area, including Lagos, one of the prettiest cities, and the stunning Ponta de Piedade cliffs of nearby. The afternoon will be spent cruising to Lisbon. We will pass by Cape St. Vincent, the southwestern most point of mainland Europe.
Day 10: Lisbon
This morning, we’ll set out on a guided tour of Portugal’s “City of Light,” Lisbon. During our visit, we’ll enjoy a tasting of the original Pasteis de Belem, following an ancient recipe from the monastery. In the afternoon, we’ll spend time exploring the labyrinth of streets in one of the oldest districts in the city, Alfama, and in Mouraria, the birthplace of Fado music. Tonight is our festive gala evening.
Day 11: Lisbon
Enjoy breakfast on board this morning before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.
