Immerse yourself in the ‘real’ Vietnam as you set out for a cycling adventure across the rich Mekong Delta. Ride along narrow village lanes as friendly natives greet you, take your meals at local houses and take advantage of numerous boat trips along narrow canals to admire daily life in the Delta. The cycling pace is easy and relaxed with a daily average of 15-20km.
Drive Ben Tre before starting a ride along the Chet Say River. After a delicious meal at a local house, board a sampan for a relaxing trip along the narrow canals.
Cycle to Cai Thia. View the mango plantations of Hoa Loc village and take a boat ride to the island of An Binh where you will visit a typical house. Finish with a relaxing row boat trip on the Cay Da Canal.
Explore the lush rice paddies and fruit farms of Cai Lay before boarding a charming wooden boat to experience rustic scenery and river life. Transfer to Can Tho.
Cruise the floating market of Cai Rang and ride along the small and shaded local village roads stopping at the houses of friendly villagers. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City this evening.
