Innovative Travel raises $2,000 in Turkey charity auction for RSA Poppy Fund

Feb 2019 - Innovative Travel MD, Robyn Galloway, was in Wellington recently to present a $2,000 cheque to RSA Chief Executive, Jack Steer, with the funds raised from a recent charity auction. Demand for Anzac Day tours in Turkey has significantly increased, hence we felt it was important to link to a charity which has so much WW I and WW II ANZAC history.

The winning bidder, Raewyn Martin, is excited to be joining the Ancient Kingdoms April tour, as her Grandfather fought in Gallipoli and went on to have 7 sons who all served in the NZ military. It is a privilege to support the RSA Poppy Fund, which directly assists veterans, and to raise awareness that once again there is the opportunity to return to Turkey and to remember the Gallipoli campaign, says Galloway.
